So I've suspected this for years! Apple slows down older iPhones. Now I have a 6 and eventually will upgrade to an 8, but right now it's just not in the budget!
This morning with the cold temperatures my phone in a half an hour went from 85% to shut down! I keep the phone my cup holder on the commute in so when I get to Dunkin Donuts I can just nab it and pay with the app... well I couldn't this morning because the thing was dead... the cup holder was extra cold. SOOOO did it die because of the temperature or did it really die that fast because it's all part of Apple trying to get me to drop some dough now?
