My neighbors are about to have a new arrival this weekend and I'm quite excited for a new PUPPY! A red German Shepard is soon to arrive and when I asked the name I was told Trigger, Duke, & Killian were all in the running. Now I don't really have any say, but I've put in my input. TRIGGER! Killian is meant for an Irish Setter... and Duke I felt was a typical German Shepard name. I have a stuffed German Shepard animal named Duke. When the Greenfield PD got two new police dogs when I was a kid my mom got their two stuffed animals for my sister and I. Duke & Dakota! I have a ridiculous memory of things that happened as a kid... ask my neighbor.
Neighbor Toph apparently felt "Trigger" was the too common dog name (actually Trigger was Roy Rogers famous horse). Where Neighbor Kate I feel is more on my side with "Duke" being the more common name. Well here's my proof!
