When it comes to Country Album of the Year... NO BRAINER! It's going to be Chris Stapleton who won for CMA Country Album of the Year. Some great albums in the category, but nothing like the success Stapleton has had with true country music.

Now For Country Song of the Year - This goes to the songwriter. Taylor Swift won for "Better Man" at the CMA Awards... I cried the first time I heard the song. I had literally ran into an ex two days before it was released and I thought how rude followed by a stream of tears. In 20 years will that song still have the same effect on people... YES! You must ask yourself when it comes to this category... what will be a great country jam 20 years from now? That would be the reason I wouldn't consider Sam to be a possibility for this one. Is it fun, catchy, and a huge commercial success! Heck yes! But in 20 years...
Every other song in this category in my mind is fabulous lyrically and musically! And will connect as an amazing song in 20. TOUGH CHOICE, but I'd love to see it go to one of the ladies... Taylor or Miranda!!!!
