Toby Keith, Who 'Prides Himself' On Writing Music, Spotlights Solo Writes

Toby Keith celebrated the most iconic songs written throughout his career with 100% Songwriter, a compilation that spotlights career-spanning anthems that the country megastar penned alone.

Keith “prides himself on being a songwriter first and foremost,” per the announcement on the hitmaker’s Instagram account read when details about 100% Songwriter were revealed in September. The 13-track album includes “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” “He Ain’t Worth Missin,’” “Courtesy of the Red, White And Blue,” and other fan-favorites spanning his career.

Keith, 62, recently announced a run of Las Vegas shows, his first ones amid his ongoing battle with cancer. He said he’s “never been off a year in my life,” and after two years off the road, he’s about to “get the band back in sync (and) get me rolling again.” After the first two Vegas shows “completely sold out,” Keith added a third and final performance date, sharing that he’s “fired up” and “can’t wait to see you there.”
