A number of Peaceful Protests yesterday throughout the city. Some of the coverage that caught my attention - the officers that took a knee with protesters outside Boston Headquarters.
Officer Kim Tavares may be familiar to you as one of the singing officers that Brad Paisley brought up in concert two summers back. She and her partner got his attention for singing "God Bless America" in their cruiser.
In the video from last nights' protest Officer Tavares is the officer that goes right up to the line - shakes hands and kneels.
Kudos to all the protesters and officers last night that kept it peaceful and safe!
