Over the weekend I got to spend some time with family as we laid to rest my grandfather in a cemetery in Rhode Island. Family flew in from Georgia and Colorado and despite the circumstance it was great to get together. We also decided to get a little creepy together!
My family is from Douglas, MA. My parents, sister and I moved to WMASS when I was just about five, but our old home was right on the MA/RI border. The home over the border about three houses up I learned a few years ago was the real life Conjuring home.
With the family all together we decided to go check out the grave of the woman who supposedly haunts the home, my cousins and I did a slow drive by the actual house (I hear the new owners will eventually open it for tours), and then all together we decided to watch the movie for those in the family who hadn't seen it.
I wouldn't say all of us are believers, but I still would love to take a tour once the new family invites visitors!
