My Spring 2022 Bucket List - 60 Miles - Bone Frog - Pretty Flowers

Every season I pick a few fun things I want to do, try, or see. And some may not always be fun, but with a bigger overall goal in mind.

So here goes my baby list for the next 8 weeks.

#1 Run 60 miles in the month of April

Now I've run 6 half marathons for St Jude, countless 5Ks & 10Ks, but over the last two years my runs have been few and far between. Now I blame most of my weight gain to this change in my routine so the goal is to get rededicated. Initially I had thought I'll do 2 miles a day for 30 days, but I realize some weeks may be tougher than others and rest days may be needed so 60 total miles is the goal. And not that I'm publicly proclaiming this I have to do it! So if you have any 5Ks or 10Ks in the month of April you love... HOLLAH at me!

#2 Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - See the Hanging Nasturtiums

A - I've never been to see the museum. The scene of the largest art heist in the world. The frames still hang on the walls, but no art is there. The heist is valued at half a billion dollars with the most expensive piece being the only seascape that Rembrandt after painted.

B - Around Easter time they have these hanging vine flowers that look very pretty. The viewing of the Hanging Nasturtiums starts April 7th and they're in bloom for a few weeks.

#3 A Normal Marathon Monday

This year I have already obtained the day off and tickets to see the Sox play the Twins at 11:10 on Marathon Monday! Brunch reservation is set in Copley Square too so that we can eat - cheer on some runners - and then cheer on the Sox!!

#4 HIKE MT MAJOR

This is one left over from my Fall Bucket List. By the time I got around to wanting to squeeze it in twas peak foliage season and it was impossible to get a day to get up there and find parking.

#5 Bone Frog Challenge - TEAM TIGER PAW

So in addition to doing lots of runs I used to do a lot of adventure races too. The Bone Frog Challenge goes down at Berkshire East in Charlemont, MA.

I've done the full mountain 3 times - the first in 2013 (check out my throwback preview of the original course) and this year I've signed up to do it again May 21st with some of my OG radio friends.
