There used to be a Big Ten guideline. No night games in November. That's clearly out the window as the Big Ten and ESPN/ABC announced that the Ohio State game at Michigan State on November 8 will kickoff at 8 p.m.

"I'm not much for November night games," former Buckeye coach and 610 WTVN analyst Earle Bruce said. "I don't think that's the time to be playing night football. We had that rule for many years and that was good for me but I guess we're changing."

We sure are.  With the Michigan State game moved to prime time, Ohio State now has five night games on its schedule, including three consecutive weeks of night action.

Ohio State's game at Penn State October 25, the home game November 1 vs. Illinois and now the game at Michigan State are all night time affairs.

The other night games will be September 6 vs. Virginia Tech and Sept. 27 vs Cincinnati.
