ASHLEY, Ohio (WTVN) -- The body of a northeast Ohio woman was found in Delaware County Tuesday.

Delaware County Sheriff Russ Martin says the woman is 42 year old Chanda Miller. She went missing from Brunswick, which is in Medina County near Cleveland. Her car was found nearby, according to our news partners at ABC 6.

Authorities say Miller was reported missing on Monday. Her mother, Laura Miller, told police that although her daughter has not been diagnosed with a mental disorder, Chanda "has an altered mental status due to trauma two years ago."

"Through phone records they indicated that she might be in this area. Our third shift crews did locate the car unattended near one of the farm homes here," Delaware Co Sheriff Russ Martin told ABC 6.

Investigators pinged her cell phone and that led them to a remote area off SR 229 near Ashley, Ohio.

The death is being considered suspicious at this time.
